Hi, I see there is a silent auction coming up at Broad Clyst, 27 Sept. What is a silent auction please? How does it work, what can we bid for and do you need any lots donated?

The silent auction is like a real auction, all the items are displayed but instead of bidding out loud, you have a ticket with a number on it, go around and see what you want to bid for , bid and then keep an eye to see if someone else outbids you. Once the bidding ends the item goes to the highest bidder. It is a good day. We don't need any more items for this event but will be desperately looking for good stuff for next years events, not just this one, so if you have anything, we would be really pleased to have it. Obviously good stuff is great as we can sell it and make a good amount for the dogs. if you want to come along, please do and bring friends as we always need support. Let me know if you need any further info.
