    Finally we have dogs in our sanctuary.  They are lovely and from Ireland.

    Polly is the most reticient of them all and the one who most needs a home as soon as possible. She is so loving but needs that one to one relationship which makes her feel valued and loved an an individual dog as she has lived all her life with her litter mates.

    Harry is outgoing, playful and full of fun.  He will make an ideal pet as he is interested in everything and loves to be into and part of all that is going on.

    Moss is very pretty and compared to her litter mates who are black, is white with a few tan patches so not sure about that!  Very friendly and loving she would probably follow you everywhere and want to be into everything with you.

    They are all foodies and so have the potential to be thieves, albeit very lovable ones

    Anyone fancy thinking about rehoming one of them? They are going to be spayed and neutered over the next few weeks and then we need to move them on so we can offer space to other needy greyhounds. Please help if you can.

    Polly is our favourite and we would love to have her but we've promised a home to another one.  However she is up in Yorkshire and if for any reason it doesn't go ahead because of the distance we will be right back to see if Polly can come to us.  It's good to have a local sanctuary.

    You would love Polly as she is the sweetest little girl and has just been spayed and so will be ready to go in a few days!!  So do make contact again. I am also getting some more photos put up on the web so you can see her up close!!

    Oh it's so hard.  I wish I could win the lottery and have them all.  I doubt if I could get my OH to agree to another one - I had to talk him round the first one as our house is quite small.  Still I will keep working on him and sooner or later I'm sure he'll give in and we can have another one.  She is a real beauty and I will keep watching.

       I often think that it`s just as easy to have 2 greyhounds as 1. My house is not the biggest , but, we`ve managed to acquire 4. Mind, we are very lucky to have the use of a field where they can have a real good run. Failing that, they are more than content to have 2 short walks a day and then just chill out !!
