Tree of Memory

Follow any link on every Greyhound Sanctuary website to access the forum. After joining the forum you may post messages and discuss many aspects of Greyhound ownership.

The Sanctuary will shortly have a tree planted within the grounds adjacent to the kennels. Wooden leaves marked with indelible ink may be attached to the tree in permanent memory of a dog or a person; all donations to Sally. Similarly the Tree of Memory web page, on this web site, will reflect the leaves attached to the actual tree

New Fund Raiser for 2008

Do you have foreign currency left over from overseas trips? If so, please can you donate it to “The Greyhound Sanctuary” by either sending it (email Sally for the address) or bringing it to one of our events. There will be a container at each event to enable you to donate your unwanted foreign currency. All coins (and notes) are acceptable and we hope that this will prove to be an easy way of raising funds.

Receive lots of mail?
We would like your old postage stamps but please ensure that they have at least 5mm of paper surrounding them.

Would you like to help?
The same company buys the stamps and the coins and we would like someone to take over the responsibility for organising this. Contact Sally if you would like to help.

“The Runners!”

Sanctuary Sponsorship

Both of the kennels at the sanctuary now have sponsorship.

One in memory of Lesley Brooker which will be called the Mrs.B Kennel and the other in Loving memory of Sport and Kerry.

Evidence (and medals to prove it!) that Sally & Wendy completed the Great West Run (13.1 miles) and raised £1308 plus approximately £250+ in gift aid for ‘The Greyhound Sanctuary’.
